imaginary dialogue with uppaluri gopala krishnamurti

-do you mind me asking you an imaginary question?

-not at all, it’s none of my business anyway, not yours either for that

matter

-after all your ‘negative’ talking you still go and see fortune tellers,

astrologists and others in the trade, how come?

-why shouldn’t i? it doesn’t mean i approve of them if that’s what

you’re inferring. it doesn’t mean a thing.

-you’re right and i withdraw the question. there’s no connection between

anything, a question is its own answer, anything just adds to the

calamity, anything i might ask you only adds to my own confusion, the

fly sits on the inside of the window, an invisible obstacle, still, I’m

here talking to myself instead, because… yes… and internet…

fear… though fearlessness neither… indifference… also called

peace… the heart beats by itself… positivist untangling… neither

nor… did i ask anything? how do we wipe clean the… wipe clean,

the… why, pickling why?… another… adds… substraction adds…

zero adds… you must be talking about time… i see now, everything you

do is caught by time, there’s no escape, no going anywhere, which annuls

everything else. the natural state is just a body in time, so if you can

get an experience of time you’re out of it, but you can’t, every

experience is in time, like your body, so you can’t even experience the

natural state… but everything adds to the confused things we call

experience and consciousness. the thing is that time has no

consciousness, it’s blind, has no sense, just a drive to continue to

continue to continue to continue. so i mean, the natural state continues

itself in the same way as any confused, thought-driven state, though

they will see each other as fragmented, acausal moments. it doesn’t

matter if the fly is on the inside or the outside of the window, as long

as it’s on it it will be an invisible obstacle to do anything, instead

it will continue to be what it is instead of doing what it does… it’s

a way to fix it, i mean, to get some drive at all from the acausal

moments.
